Very privileged to have been able to take photogrpahs both during rehearsal and concert on 9th June at St Albans.  HCS were in fine voice and surged in all the right places when singing A Sea Symphony by Vaughan Williams.  There was a really nice blend of voices and orchestra, with the voices sounding like the crest of the wave.  Acoustics in St Albans very good.

Sue Graham Smith played the Finzi piano recital with finesse and feeling, and the orchestra gave a joyous performance of Fingal's Cave.

HCS, soloists and orchestra all looked to be really enjoying themselves and their pleasure infused the music.  A truly memorable evening and a tribute to Derek Harrison, musical director.

Pictures from the reheasal and concert are now in the Gallery under Hertford Choral Society.
